Maturing and governance  

Organizations can be very used to or not as used to completing projects and programs. This is really dependant on the organizational maturity. This is significant to how good the organization is at making successful changes – and thus also significant to how good an organization is at getting results. An important key to getting results is therefore to work with organizing and competencies within project- and program management. 

Peak has different methods for elevating the maturity level in an organization. The first step can be a maturity assessment such as P3M3. This lays the groundwork for the effort for maturing to be tailored to your organization. The assessment gives input into which initiatives you should get started on in relation to which level you are currently on – and which level you want to work towards. The areas that can typically create value on a short-term basis are:  

  • Clearer organization  
  • Distinct roles and responsibilities  
  • Competence boosts with employees and managers
